Sara Keough, MS, CNS, LDN
Integrative Eco-Nutritionist, Keynote Speaker, Community Connector.
My journey started with conservation work in Colorado before I dived into the healthcare field, and now I love teaching clients and farmers about the integral connections between our food choices, our health, our farming practices, AND our ecological world.
I am passionate about connecting our agricultural communities with the healthcare community, as I truly believe that regenerative farmers and ranchers are healers of the planet and play a pivotal role in restoring human and ecosystem health.
My mission is to show the world how we can all REGENERATE our own health & wellbeing and the health of our planet by supporting regenerative agriculture to nourish our inner and outer ecosystems.

You are capable of healing your inner ecosystem, and as a community we are capable of healing our planetary ecosystem.
I started my practice Eco-Nutrition based on these vitally important beliefs:
Consumers can heal themselves by supporting farmers that provide nutrient-dense foods from healthy soils.
And healthy farming practices will in turn support the ecological health of the planet.
You too can be part of this movement in shifting to more healthy agricultural practices that create healthier, diverse, and more resilient ecosystems that deeply nourish us within us and all around us!
Sara’s Story
I grew up judging myself and feeling disconnected from my body, my nutrition, and my health. My healing journey to find solutions spanned over 20 years and now I feel more healthy, alive, vibrant than I ever have before!
No matter what pain or frustrations you’re experiencing I will meet you with support and patience because you don’t have to embark on your healing journey by yourself.
My interest in nutrition started from a young age as I grew up reading books on natural home remedies and encyclopedias on healing herbs and foods. I always had a love of nature and decided to pursue a career in conservation biology doing fieldwork in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in my home state of Colorado. But after I finished my biology degree, I listened to a deeper calling within and decided to embark on a new path into the world of health and wellness.
I took a huge leap of faith and relocated to the east coast to enroll at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) where I completed my Master’s degree in Nutrition & Integrative Health. I passed a board exam with the nationally respected American Nutrition Association to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and I am also a licensed nutritionist in the state of Maryland, however I work virtually with patients all throughout the country.
I truly enjoy clinical work, but I'm just as passionate about educating clients on lifestyle changes that can produce powerful outcomes for their health, such as connecting to nature and sourcing food from local, regenerative farms. I serve as a public speaker and technical advisor for various organizations in agriculture that are dedicated to transforming our food systems and improving ecological environments.
In my free time I love gardening and foraging for wild foods such as edible mushrooms and herbs. I live in a tiny house on a farm and this has taught me so much about how to live more simply and leave a lighter footprint on the planet.
I'm very dedicated to supporting our farmers that are playing a key role in creating healthy soil. For years have been studying "regenerative agriculture" and how improving soil health can optimize the nutritional value of our food, support the health of our microbiome, and sequester carbon from the atmosphere to help transform the health of our planet!
